Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website www.avenuejphotography.com and all services provided by Avenue J Photography ("we", "us", or "our"). By booking a session or using this site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Booking and Payment

  • All sessions require a deposit or full payment to confirm your booking.
  • Final payment is due on or before the session date, unless otherwise arranged.
  • Session pricing is listed on our website and may be subject to change at any time.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance may be rescheduled without penalty.
  • Deposits are non-refundable unless cancellation is made by Avenue J Photography.
  • No-shows or last-minute cancellations (within 48 hours) may forfeit the session fee.

3. Turnaround & Delivery

  • Proof galleries are typically delivered within 7–14 business days after your session.
  • Final edited images are delivered via online gallery download unless otherwise specified.
  • Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

4. Usage Rights & Licensing

  • Clients receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal or promotional use.
  • All images remain the copyrighted property of Avenue J Photography unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Images may be used by Avenue J Photography for portfolio, marketing, or promotional purposes unless a written agreement states otherwise.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are responsible for arriving on time and ready for their session.
  • Outfit, makeup, or styling choices should be coordinated in advance to stay on schedule.
  • Delays caused by the client may result in reduced shoot time or additional fees.

6. Digital Files & Archiving

  • Digital galleries are available for download for a limited time (usually 30 days).
  • We recommend backing up all files after download. We do not guarantee storage of images after delivery.

7. Refund Policy

  • Due to the custom and artistic nature of photography, all sales are final.
  • In rare cases where a refund is approved, it will be issued at our discretion, minus any non-refundable costs (e.g., location fees, retouching).

8. Limitation of Liability

Avenue J Photography is not liable for any loss or damage due to equipment failure, weather, or other uncontrollable factors. In such cases, a reshoot or refund may be offered at our discretion.

9. Third-Party Links

Our website may include links to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services indicates your agreement to the updated Terms.
